Pumpkin Spice Latte Recipe
Autumn is here, and there’s not better drink to savour curled up in bed than a Pumpkin Spiced Latte (or #PSL to the true connoisseur!). We’ve made ours with our limited edition Pumpkin Spice Chai. This healthy blend with Sumatran black tea, whole spices and real pumpkin pieces contains immunity boosting ingredients to help your body adjust to the colder weather.
So grab your favourite mug and let’s get brewing!
3 Perfect Teaspoons of Pumpkin Spice Chai Tea
200 ml of milk
150ml boiling water
Your favourite mug
Latte milk foamer – optional
Add three Perfect Teaspoons of Pumpkin Spice Chai to your Magic Filter(If you don’t have a magic filter, you could add the ingredients to a saucepan on simmer instead). Add the boiling water and let it brew for 4 minutes (set a timer). This step is important because you need to let your tea brew for long enough to bring out the flavour but not so long that tea becomes bitter (if you like it even stronger add more tea rather than brewing it for any longer).
In the meantime, add cold milk to your milk foamer. Shake it like a cocktail shaker for between 30 – 60 seconds (until you’ve achieved your desired level of foamy goodness!). Then pop in the microwave to heat up. If you don’t have a milk foamer, any method of warming the milk will do just fine!
Now, place your magic filter on top of the mug. The tea will automatically filter through leaving the tea leaves behind. Sprinkle some cinnamon and nutmeg on top of the tea and add the frothed milk. If you are well versed in the art of latte making, now is the time to unleash your creative barista skills!
Sprinkle a little more cinnamon on top et voilà!
If you want to go all out, serve with a slice of pumpkin loaf cake!
